THYRSE is a floral designer based in Paris.
After seven years at Saint Laurent’s studio as an embroidery designer, Domitille Basso (Thyrse) chose to express her art with a different medium and founded her floral studio in 2021, Thyrse.
Her experiment approach challenges conventional ideas of structures and balance in the realms of artistic floral creation and botanical staging. Her tailor-made natural compositions shed light on the profound connections between how we perceive, represent and understand fundamental principles of life.
Thyrse reinvents floral art by crafting unique botanical scenographies and collaborates notably with Anne Imhof, Rafael Pavarotti, Karim Sadli, Stef Mitchel and many more. Her editorial work has been featured in Vogue Italia, Self-Service, Purple Magazine and T-Magazine China. Her commercial clients includes Chanel, 19M, Hermes, Dior, Prada Beauty, Louis Vuitton, Chloé, Coty, Guerlain, Gucci, Kenzo, Balenciaga, Jacquemus, Jil Sander and Zara Home.
