Cloe Vriet
PAPER ARTIST | SCENOGRAPHY | EDITION
Based in Paris, Cloé Vriet is a French visual artist and paper-sculptor who treats paper not merely as a material, but as a medium of memory, gesture and silence. After graduating in object and industrial design (BTS at La Souterraine, DSAA at ENSAAMA Paris), and accumulating a decade of experience in luxury scenography, she turned to an intimate practice where delicate incisions and assemblies create organic volumes out of simple sheets of paper.
Her work uses folding, cutting, shaping and layering to transform fragile matter into expressive structures. Light filters through the paper surfaces; shadows sculpt forms and textures become visible landscapes. Her pieces are at once material and poetic—they reveal the interplay of tension and flow, of surface and depth.
Often commissioned by prestigious brands, Cloé’s creations reinterpret luxury, beauty and craft through the lens of paper art—where minimal means, refined technique, and tactile presence converge.
Collaborations include Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Eres, Guerlain, Issey Miyake, Armani, Moët Hennessy, Mumm, Roederer, Castelbajac, Kenzo, La Mer, Louis Vuitton, La Prairie, Lancôme, Longines, Saint-Louis, Adidas, Guerlain, Perrier-Jouët…
