Lucian Bor
PHOTOGRAPHER | FILM DIRECTOR
Born in Zurich to a Czech artist father and an art critic mother, Lucian Bor first turned away from art, a youthful act of rebellion that would later define his independent spirit. By chance, he discovered photography, a medium that became his new language of expression.
He began his career in Paris, working for magazines such as Vogue and many others around the world. Reflection, projection, and shadow form the foundation of his visual vocabulary, allowing him to paint with light and invite viewers on a journey through time and perception.
Blending classical references with surrealist, contemporary, and futuristic influences, Lucian’s images transcend eras to create a timeless aesthetic.
Dividing his time between Zurich and Paris, he continues his artistic exploration with constant curiosity and precision.
Collaborations include British Vogue, Vogue Italia, and numerous other Vogues, Léa Seydoux, Julianne Moore, Catherine Deneuve, Clémence Poésy, Lashana Lynch, Diane Kruger, Harriet Walter, Dior, Swarovski, Fred, Lancel, Air France, Aubade, Bompard…
