Simon Escourbiac
PHOTOGRAPHER | FILM DIRECTOR
Photographer and director, Simon Escourbiac explores matter through its most essential language: texture. His images reveal the invisible life of surfaces, their density, balance, and inner light. Whether working on still life or film, he approaches each object as a living substance, transforming materials into sensorial landscapes.
Guided by a minimalist aesthetic, Simon isolates forms, captures transitions, and magnifies what is often overlooked. Every frame becomes an encounter between science and emotion, geometry and poetry. His compositions evoke a world of pure perception, where texture becomes movement and light becomes structure.
His refined visual signature has made him a sought-after collaborator for the world’s most prestigious brands, always striving to sublimate the essence of a product through precision, restraint, and beauty.
Collaborations include Chanel, Dior, Prada, La Prairie, Lancaster, Estée Lauder, Valentino, Givenchy, Guerlain, Issey Miyake, Lancôme, Dolce & Gabbana, Giorgio Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, Biotherm, Make Up For Ever, Garnier, Helena Rubinstein, Moët & Chandon, Hera, L’Oréal Pro, Rémy Martin, Glenmorangie…

Mascara wands fanned into geometric precision. The Prada triangle rendered in foundation. Skincare lines composed like architectural studies. Simon Escourbiac handles the still life and campaign signature work for this Prada Beauty chapter, where the focus shifts to technology. Skin, eyes, texture, performance. Each object is treated with the same formal rigour the Maison applies to its fashion and accessories, making the product not just visible, but inevitable. The result is a body of work where cosmetic science and luxury codes become one.

Soft pinks. Geometric gold. The iconic Prada triangle, reborn in compact form. Simon Escourbiac shoots the Prada Color campaign with the precision and restraint the Maison demands. Against pale, textile-inspired backgrounds, lipsticks, compacts and lip glosses are composed as fashion objects — because that is precisely what they are. Simon's still life work captures exactly that: objects that carry the full weight of a house.

ARTISAN PARFUMEUR | SIMON ESCOURBIAC
Simon Escourbiac and Pauline Choffe bring two fragrances from L'Artisan Parfumeur to life through set design conceived as an extension of each bottle's own world. For Tenebrae 26, a geode of layered agate mirrors the label's mineral waves, the flacon set within its own landscape. For Abyssae 33, scorched earth and oxidised surfaces evoke the depths the name suggests, raw and ancient. Each fragrance dictates its own visual territory.
