THYRSE
FLORAL STYLIST | FLORAL SCENOGRAPHY
THYRSE | From textiles to botany, floral art as a language
Blending the meticulous craftsmanship of haute couture with the sensitivity of nature, Thyrse redefines what floral creation can be. Her work transforms flowers into structure, movement, and meaning - crafting immersive installations that feel both instinctive and architectural.
Before founding her own studio in 2021, Domitille Basso spent eight years at Saint Laurent, designing embroideries and embellishments for men’s and women’s collections. This foundation in precision and balance now informs her floral practice: petals and stems are handled like fabrics and threads, shaped with the same pursuit of harmony and grace.
From delicate suspended arrangements to large-scale scenographies, her creations reveal a dialogue between textile memory and organic expression. Each piece becomes a study in contrast - the ephemeral and the constructed, the raw and the refined.
Collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Dior, Chanel, Prada, Gucci, Chloé, Balenciaga, Coty, Kenzo, Guerlain, Zara Home, 19M, John Galliano, Simon Porte Jacquemus… illustrate a universe where floral design transcends ornament to become art in itself.
