Lucian Bor was born in Zurich to an artist father and an art critic mother, both of Czech origin.
At first he gave up art, a choice that could be described as youthful rebellion.
Then, by chance, he discovered the world of photography.
In Paris, he began his career working for magazines such as Vogue and many others.
Reflection, mirroring, projection and shadows are the tools that serve his art: that of painting images by offering a journey through photographic time.
Classicism, surrealism, the contemporary and futurism come together in his work to create a timeless image.
Lucian Bor now works between Zurich and Paris, tirelessly pursuing his artistic exploration.
