Aurelien Chauvaud

Photographer and director, Aurélien Chauvaud creates images that lie between documentary and imagination.

His work combines a sense of realism with a poetic interpretation of the world, seeking to preserve the human and social context of each story.Born in Paris, he studied photography between France, England, and Barbados before assisting photographers for nearly a decade between Europe and the United States.

His approach blends cinematic light, narrative precision, and emotional restraint, transforming everyday scenes into visual metaphors.Aurélien’s personal and commissioned work has received international recognition, including awards from D&AD, Clio Awards, and the International Photography Awards.

He collaborates with major brands and publications while continuing to explore his own projects, where authenticity and imagination coexist.
